Ace and Sharkey remain on the Star Ranger. While working on the robot Sharkey took from the maker, a watcher is activated inside it. The watcher tries to escape the Star Ranger as Horton jams its attempts to broadcast to the Triiad. Ace and Sharkey track down the watcher and destroy it before Kulai and Max return.

The ceremony is a success and greatly increases the number of Kulai's people. It also raises two new Chalim to later be trained by Kulai.
