Caduceus Enclave - group of people dedicated to bettering human life through medical advancement; insists on remaining isolationist and refuses to have anything to do with alien contact.

CGI (Computer Generated Image) - Three dimensional images created by computers that create the special effects for shows like HYPERNAUTS.

Hyper bubble - a sphere of energy used by the Academy of Galactic Exploration that allows ships to travel at faster than light speeds.

Maker - Triiad factory ship that breaks planets and asteroids down into their base elements and uses the raw materials to build new Triiad weapons.

Scragger - unmanned attack/guard ships used by the Triiad; because the Triiad does not trust intelligent machines, scraggers are little more than mindless weapons with sensors.

Sphere of Interception - energy field generated by millions of Triiad ships. The field is used to detect anything that passes through it; nothing can pass through the sphere without being detected.
