The part of the galaxy the HYPERNAUTS have entered is under attack from a great military force known as the Triiad. Its greatest weapon is its enemy's ignorance of the Triiad's existance or size. The longer the Triiad goes unchallenged the stronger it becomes. Once it has destroyed a planet, it uses the planet's raw resources to create more weapons to use in its expansion. The worlds left in the path of the Triiad are little more than useless rock.
